Social Media Links

Before you start creating content for your knowledge base you will want to add links to your social media profiles. These will show at the bottom of your knowledge base across all pages.

Add social media profile links

Add links to the social media profiles for your company. These will show at the bottom of every page within your knowledge base:

1. Open a page within the knowledge base editor

2. Scroll to the very bottom of the page

3. Click on any of the social media icons at the bottom of the page

4. Use the "Configure Social Media Links" pop-up to add links to your social media profiles

5. Click the "Save Changes" button

6. Click the "Preview" button in the page header to preview your knowledge base in a new tab

7. Confirm that the social media icons show at the bottom of the knowledge base (we'll only show those that you've added a link for)

8. Click on each of the social media icons and confirm that the correct webpage opens in a new tab

9. Return to the knowledge base editor

10. Click the "Publish" button to publish your knowledge base

11. Click the "Live Version" button in the page header to open your live knowledge base

12. Repeat steps 7 and 8 to confirm the social media icons show and work as as expected on the live version of your knowledge base

You can edit your social media profile links at any time by repeating the steps above and publishing your knowledge base to make the changes live.
